How-To: Felt Button Rings

Felt button rings are very easy to make. Once you have your components selected, each ring should take less than 10 minutes to put together.

How-to:

You will need: Buttons (2 or 3) in graduating sizes. A scrap of thick felt.

Cut the felt band
: Use the thickest felt you have available. I used recycled sweater felt. Thin commercially made felt sheets will not work well. If you must use thin felt, use a double layer. Cut the felt whatever width you wish. Wrap the strip around your finger and pull tight. Cut the strip to the exact length you need to fit your finger snugly. Do not allow for overlap.

Sew the band together. Do not overlap ends.

Sew on the buttons one at a time. Make sure you pull tight and go through each one two or three times.
