Phone Book Himmeli

 

I finished a paper straw himmeli mobile made from the white pages of an out of date phone book and red yarn. I didn't do it properly (I made the basic diamond shapes individually and then tied them together...it would have been much nicer if I had built it piece by piece).

I am quite excited about the possibilities of paper straws and the phonebook pages make a surprisingly attractive and neutral material. When I make another one (correctly next time) I will make a tutorial on how to assemble the mobile.
