Tutorial: Making a Basic Paper Tube Starburst From Old Textbook Pages (Part Two)

1. Cut a circle from card stock and glue to the center with white glue to stabilize the individual tubes.
2. Allow the glue to dry. Weight the center down to preserve a flat shape.
3. Cut two progressively smaller circles from light weight paper.
4. Fold the larger of the two circles into 4ths (or more if large).

5. Notch circle to form petals.
6. Use the blade of your scissors to curl up the individual petals.

7. Use white glue to attach center pieces to card stock disc.

Variations: Experiment with other types of centers. If you do not want the cardboard stabilizing disc to show, simply glue it to the back instead.
